Adding an Assessor to a License

All Individuals who wish to become a licensed Assessor must first complete the BREEAM USA In-Use Assessor training or recognized equivalent course.  Once the associated exam is successfully passed, the individual is eligible to become licensed.

The applicant must complete the BREEAM USA In-Use Assessor application form and provide evidence of the required level of Professional Liability insurance as stated in the license agreement, terms and conditions.  The application must be signed by the applicant and an authorized representative of the company (if different) to confirm the applicant and the Assessor Organization agree to accept and abide by the license agreement, terms and conditions.

The annual license fee is published in the BREEAM USA In-Use Fee Sheet (FS130).  Where the applicant is being added to the existing license agreement, the annual license fee will be prorated to the end of the existing license term.

Any questions about licensing should be directed to the Licensing Team (licensing@breamerica.com)
