Guidance Note 34 (GN34) is an ecology evaluation checklist to determine the applicable assessment route for a project undertaking a BREEAM assessment. It is a high-level checklist which evaluates the risk to habitats and features of ecological value on the project site or within the zone of influence. The checklist must be completed by a project team member or other professionally qualified client representative with responsibility for site wide planning and decision making.
