If the internal food/composting waste containers are provided by the Local Authority and the assessor considers these to be appropriate, the minimum size requirement of 10 litres can be disregarded.
In terms of UK New Construction, the above is only applicable to multi-residential buildings with individual bedrooms and communal facilities only.
