Previously, if there were any drainage issues identified in the building, that were not within the scope of the assessment/intended fit out then the criteria would be applicable. Therefore, this new question has been added to the initial details section.
Where the answer is No, then Pol 03 will be filtered out of the assessment. When the answer is Yes, the Pol 03 credits will be applicable. This change applies to both the UK RFO scheme and the International RFO scheme.
In the case of P3-4 assessments where the new question is answered as yes, Pol 03 will show 2 credits are available for flood risk management. Therefore, those 2 credits are still applicable and are not filtered out of the assessment.
Please note that where the answer to the question is no, detailed documentary evidence demonstrating that there is no impact in line with the requirements of this exception must be referenced within the Initial Details, with applicable assessor commentary provided. Where this is not included, NCs could be raised delaying the certification process. Where the answer is yes, the usual evidence and justification will suffice, and no further confirmation is needed.
