Converting a non-habitable room into a habitable room

If the refurbishment project involves a room, for example a garage, being converted into a habitable room, the pre-refurbishment SAP assessment needs to include this space in the total floor area.

The energy assessment of this space will need to be based on the default values in SAP Appendix S or actual values where available.
