Passive design analysis – Error in the Methodology section

The Methodology section for ‘Passive design analysis’ includes the following error in relation to the baseline to be used for comparison:

  • Where it reads: ‘…the relevant Building Regulations notional building or, for Scotland, an equivalent compliant building…’
  • This should read: ‘the existing building’, in line with criterion 2
Technical manual to be updated accordingly in next reissue.
